Back to School

Joshua started school on Wednesday (yesterday) and is going 3 days a week this year. He had a breakthrough moment and actually spoke up in class answering one of his teacher's questions. Aside from that he played in a corner while circle time was going on and when I threatened to leave because he was not participating he said, 'I want you to go Mommy.' Guess he is very comfortable at school this year!

Evelyn had her days and nights mixed up a bit earlier this week but Memaw and Grandad were here from Tuesday to today and they helped to straighten her out. We've had two good nights so I hope tonight will be a third! She is becoming much more alert when she is awake and can move her head side to side to follow a sound. She can even do it while on her tummy. She really doesn't look newborn any more.

Mira has come down with a fever and is not feeling well at all. She is mostly just drinking milk and clinging to me. This is quite a challenge with two babies to hold. I guess mommies with twins do it but I never wanted twins! I hope her fever breaks tonight or we may need to have her looked at. It is hard to tell if she is hurting anywhere. You can ask her 'Does your mouth hurt?' "Yesh" she'll say. "Do your ears hurt?" "Yesh" she'll say. "Do your toes hurt" "Yesh" she'll say. She'd probably answer "Yesh" if you asked her if her dinglehopper hurt. We knew she was REALLY sick when she turned down ice cream tonight. That is always the truest sign of illness.
