The days are moving right along. Sometimes they feel 'doable' sometimes they are ridiculous but we make it through either way. Joshua is very excited about his upcoming birthday and has asked for a number of toys and a pinata. I wasn't planning on a big party for him this year since he has had one every year prior. We are just going to get together with the family. That is big enough! Preschool continues to go well and on Monday he danced in class! This is a miracle since he didn't dance even once last year.
Mira has added a few more words to her repertoire. She now says 'more, up, ice, cheese, juice, mine' and probably a few I am forgetting. She is also putting two words together into sentences. She is getting a little tiring with the climbing though. We can't eat a meal without her in the middle of the table through most of it and we haven't found any good way to get her to stop. We removed the chairs from the table for a while but we still need them at meal time. She is very loud about her desires and can be quite pushy when it comes to things she wants.
Evelyn is laying here beside me fussing away. It is her evening habit to sleep for 2 hours in the early evening. Be awake until about midnight and then sleep for a longer stretch before waking up a few times to nurse in the night. Mira gets us all up early so that provides for little sleep for mommy! Evie Joy is cooing and smiling a lot. Her favorite subject seems to be Joshua who is happy to be by her side. He calls her Joy Joy now. He is full of nicknames and antics! I believe she weighs at leat 15 lbs but that is not official. She is WELL into the 3-6 mos. clothes and growing like a weed.
