By the end of the snowfall today we had about 7" or so. It was enough for Joshua to spend a good deal of time outside sledding, building a snowman and throwing snowballs with the neighbor kids. The weather was NOT WARM. Ok, you might be saying, 'When is a snowy day warm?' however there are snow days when you could survive with heavy clothes and gloves and not loose a limb because of the cold. Today it was in the 20's/low 30's and very, very windy. I was surprised at how long Joshua stayed out because he usually doesn't like the cold but he was entertained and when he did come in he snuggled up in a blanket to get warm.
We had soup and muffins for dinner. It just seemed right!
